I spent two days in a room with WHO, the Federal Ministry of Health, Ogun State Ministry of Health, academic institutions, and professional bodies — and left with structured minutes, resolutions, and a tracking system ready for the next quarter. This week, I supported the Secretariat Team during the Inauguration and First Quarterly Meeting of the Ogun State Laboratory Technical Working Group (SLTWG) under the Ogun State Ministry of Health. The two-day session brought together stakeholders across the Ogun State Ministry of Health, Federal Ministry of Health (National Laboratory TWG), WHO, alongside academic institutions and professional bodies, all focused on strengthening laboratory systems, data coordination and health security in Ogun State. My support covered both operations and documentation: • Managing attendance documentation and supporting meeting flow • Distributing materials and coordinating session logistics • Capturing event photos for records and reporting • Recording discussions and using AI tools to transcribe audio • Structuring notes into clear minutes, resolutions and action points • Creating a presentation for a breakout group on the spot • Uploading recordings to Google Drive for shared access • Setting up the working document in Google Docs and a tracking sheet in Google Sheets for collaborative review By the end of the session, long conversations had become structured documentation, adopted outcomes and clear next steps for the next quarter.
